Your First Visit
An evaluation built around you.
Your complete clinical intake takes place in the office. Dr. McGovern reviews your health history, concerns, and goals, then discusses whether a care pathway, diagnostics, or another next step is appropriate.
Labs and diagnostic testing are not included in the evaluation. There is no long health questionnaire required to ask about scheduling.
Medical Evaluation
$225
A $225 payment is required to schedule your evaluation. If you enroll in the Performance or Legacy Pathway, that payment is credited toward the pathway price.
If you complete the evaluation and do not enroll, the payment is the cost of your appointment and is not refunded.

- What happens at the first appointment?
- You will complete a full medical intake in the office during a 60-minute evaluation with Dr. McGovern. He will review your health history, current concerns, and goals and discuss the appropriate next step with you.
- Are labs or testing included in the evaluation?
- Laboratory work and diagnostic testing are not included in the $225 evaluation. Our team will explain recommended services and their costs before you proceed.
- What if I do not enroll in a pathway?
- The $225 is the cost of your medical evaluation and is not refunded after the appointment if you choose not to enroll. If you enroll in the Performance or Legacy Pathway, it is credited toward your pathway price.
- What is the cancellation policy?
- If you cancel at least 48 hours before your appointment, 95% of the $225 payment is refunded. If you miss your appointment, you may reschedule once; if you miss the rescheduled appointment, the payment is not refunded. Contact our office for other scheduling changes.
- What if I am interested in pain care or shockwave?
- Pain and shockwave care has its own evaluation associated with the shockwave visit. Contact the office and we will help you arrange the appropriate appointment.
